This 4-day painting program is for kids who are ready to go beyond basic craft projects and explore painting in a deeper way.
We’ll look at artwork from different artists, styles, and time periods, then talk about what students notice, what they like, and what inspires them.
Students will create their own painting projects using watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paint on surfaces like canvas, paper, wood, and glass. Along the way, we’ll work with color blending, contrast, movement, composition, and personal style.
This program is beginner-friendly, but best for older kids who can handle longer projects, creative choices, and a little patience.
By the end of the week, our goal is for students to feel more confident in their painting skills and more comfortable developing their own artistic style.
