A Murder at Marwood Manor

Our murder mystery takes place at a posh manor home where Sir Marwood is hosting a cocktail party, but before the food & drink can be served – he’s found dead in the wine cellar and the hilarity/mystery ensues.

It turns out our murder victim had a lot of enemies!  Everyone has a motive – so who will it be?

This game can be played with as few as 8 players and up to 18.  It must be booked a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to give us time to send invitations, get RSVP’s and assign roles.

Guests must be 18+ to attend, 21 to drink.

How it Works

• Your guests are each sent an invitation with an RSVP date.  After the RSVP is official, we work with your group to choose characters and send out blurbs/costume suggestions.
• The night of your party each player is greeted by us and given instructions, a notebook for sleuthing, a list of suggested questions for each round and a full script that tells you what to say if you are guilty/innocent.  Game play is incredibly easy so no need to be nervous!
• Your hosts (Nick or Chris) will start the evening off by explaining the game and answering any questions.
• We then work through our characters introductions and presenting the opening evidence.
• Three rounds of game play are then intermingled with wine/cocktails (or soda, tea or coffee), plenty of appetizers, and followed by a dessert bar (2 to 3 choices).  One free drink is provided, after that a cash bar is available for your guests.
• For the finale, everyone makes their accusations and the killer is revealed.  Votes are taken for best costume, actor, and detective, then certificates are awarded.
• We have a backdrop for free photo ops throughout the event and are happy to do group photos for you.
• Most games last between 2.5 to 3.5 hours depending on group size.
• A minimum of 8 people must play for the game to work.  We have a maximum of 18 for this party.

We periodically add new characters and the murderer changes each time we play the game!
