Crushed glass and resin art project from VineGogh Studio

Crushed glass and resin art

Crushed glass adds color, texture, and light to a design. Resin holds the project together and adds a clear finish. Depending on the workshop, the design may use a laser-cut frame, a seasonal shape, or another prepared base.

We design and cut many of our wood projects in house. That gives us room to offer different themes and shapes throughout the year. The current listing shows the project options available for that event.

One workshop or a longer class?

A single workshop is a good starting point when you want guidance on a specific project. We prepare the materials, demonstrate the process, and help as you work.

A longer resin class gives you more time to learn, experiment, and develop your own ideas. Dates, projects, and the experience level vary by series, so read the class description before registering. If you’re unsure which option fits, ask us about the current classes.

What if I’ve never used resin?

Look for a workshop described as suitable for beginners. You don’t need to know every resin technique to make a guided project, and you don’t need to copy the sample’s colors exactly.

If you already work with resin, tell us what you’re hoping to learn. We can help you choose from the projects and classes currently available.

Allow time for curing

Resin needs time to cure, so a project may need to stay at the studio after the workshop. Check the event details for finishing and pickup arrangements, especially if you’re making a gift or traveling from outside Highland.

Class length, project size, and the number of sessions also vary. We list those details with each event so you can choose what works for your schedule.

Resin projects for private groups

Selected crushed glass and resin projects are available for private studio events. Tell us your occasion, group size, and budget, and we’ll help narrow down the options.

For groups of 15 or more, ask about offsite art workshops at your workplace, library, community space, or private venue. Project choice, travel availability, and pricing depend on the group and location.
