Watercolor and acrylic painting classes

Our painting classes give you time to learn techniques and put them to work. Watercolor sessions explore working with water, color, and layers. Acrylic workshops offer another way to build a painting with guided instruction. Subjects and class formats change throughout the year.

Some events are one-time lessons; others run over several sessions. Read the calendar listing for the subject, dates, price, and experience level. You can also read our thoughts on watercolor and letting go of perfection.

Resin, mosaics, and other hands-on workshops

Prefer making something you can use or display? Explore our Turkish mosaic lamp workshops and resin art classes and crushed glass projects. We also offer laser-cut wood projects, mixed media, and seasonal workshops. The calendar shows what’s available now.

Do I need art experience?

Many of our workshops welcome beginners. We prepare materials, demonstrate the process, and help as you work. You don’t have to make your project look exactly like the sample. Check each event’s description for any experience requirements, especially for longer or more involved classes.

Private groups and offsite art workshops

You can also book a private art event for friends, birthdays, or teams. For groups of 15 or more, selected workshops can travel to your workplace, library, or private venue. We’ll help choose a project that fits your group, space, and budget.
