Join me for a small group watercolor retreat focused on learning and practice.
Enjoy real skill building in a relaxed, small group setting as you learn techniques that add depth, light, and atmosphere to your watercolor paintings.
We will explore layering, lifting, bokeh effects, reverse stenciling, and texture techniques
You can choose your own subject matter and apply the techniques in a way that fits your style.
This day is perfect for those who have taken watercolor classes with me and want to expand further, and also for beginners who are ready to build strong foundations from the start.
It is not a repeat of the weekly series. We will go deeper into technique while keeping the atmosphere calm and supportive.
Class is limited to 8 participants so everyone gets plenty of guidance.
Each person will receive a richly pigmented high-grade Chromatek watercolor set and brushes to take home. ($30 value) You'll also receive 100% cotton watercolor paper to use during class. You'll see how quality paints and paper make all the difference. This is one of my favorite brands for layering and depth.
You will leave relaxed and refreshed with new skills, stronger technique, and supplies that help your paintings become richer and more visually interesting, often looking more advanced than they actually are.
