August Resin Series: Light-Up Stained Glass-Style Photo Box + Poured Paint Resin Vase

This 4-week resin series is best for people with a bit of prior resin experience who are ready for larger, multi-step projects with more room to experiment.
We’ll complete two projects during the series: a 12x12 freestanding light-up photo box with a stained glass-style resin front and a poured paint resin vase.
For the photo box, you’ll choose your frame design when registering: Floral, Ocean, or Steampunk. We’ll paint and build the box, install the lights, create the resin front so it has the look of real stained glass, and assemble everything with your photo. The finished box is designed so you can access the inside later to change the lights or swap out the photo.
We’ll also create a poured paint vase and seal it with resin for a glossy, wet-look finish. We’ll cover color choices, how to avoid muddy pours, how to encourage cells and movement, and how resin gives the finished piece that rich, glassy surface.
Because both projects have several steps and need curing time, we’ll work on them over all four Tuesday evenings instead of rushing through them in one night.
