Create a 12x12 fabric wall art piece using a fun no-sew technique inspired by traditional kinusaiga. Choose from several seasonal designs, then use colorful fabrics to build your image piece by piece, tucking the edges into the design to create a clean, quilted look without sewing a single stitch.
We’ll walk you through the process from start to finish, and you can choose your own fabrics and color combinations to make your piece completely your own.
No sewing or previous experience needed. This is a fun, beginner friendly workshop and you will leave with a piece of art you'll be proud to hang.
What is No-Sew Fabric Art?
This workshop is inspired by the Japanese art of kinusaiga, where fabric is tucked into shallow grooves to build an image piece by piece. There’s no sewing involved. You’ll choose your fabrics, trim each section, and tuck the edges into the design to create a soft, quilted look.
It’s a great beginner project because the pattern does most of the hard work for you. No drawing skills or sewing experience needed!
