Missed our sold out Friday the 13th texture painting night in February? This is your second chance. March brings us another Friday the 13th, and we’re leaning into it with a moody, gothic inspired texture painting workshop designed for anyone who loves dark florals, dramatic movement, and art that feels a little mysterious.
In this workshop, you’ll create a richly layered painting on an 11 x 14 wood panel using acrylic paint and texture mediums. We’ll work with palette knives and brushes to build depth, movement, and contrast, focusing on dark florals, moonlit elements, vines, and shadowed details. The finished piece is bold, dimensional, and striking enough to hang year round, not just for spooky season.
This class is beginner friendly and guided step by step. You do not need prior painting or texture experience. I’ll walk you through composition, layering, and technique while leaving plenty of room for personal style and interpretation. Each piece ends up looking unique, even when working from the same inspiration.
We'll also have optional trivia, story telling, drink specials, and an eerie playlist to keep with the vibe!
All materials are included. Space is limited, and the February Friday the 13th session sold out immediately. This is a one night repeat simply because the calendar lined up again.
