one day intensive learn watercolor in a small class with a lot of one-on-one attention.One-Day Workshop | Sunday January 25th 11AM–4:00 PM
$80 per person – includes watercolor tube set, brushes, and paper
Limited to 6 participants for plenty of one-on-one instruction  We will take a 30 minute lunch break midway.

Spend a relaxed but focused day learning real watercolor skills that improve your technique. Whether you’re new to watercolor or have been practicing and feeling stuck, this workshop will help you move forward with confidence.

You’ll leave with a 24-color watercolor tube set, brushes, and your own 20–postcard painting challenge - a project you’ll begin here and continue at home. We’ll cover water control, color mixing (avoiding mud), shading, highlighting, and a mix of wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and wet-on-damp techniques.

After morning exercises (fun and relaxed) on practice paper, we’ll start the postcard studies together. Each card focuses on a specific subject or technique to build skill and confidence. You’ll continue the rest at your own pace at home using your printed handout for guidance.

The goal of this workshop/retreat is to take time for yourself, to tap your creativity and flow with your art with a challenge that is doable and will have you feeling accomplished.

Bring a snack or light lunch.  I will have complimentary tea, water and cookies.
