We are doing this fundraiser to benefit Catty Shack in Hamel. https://www.facebook.com/cattyshackil Since 2017 these fine folks have rescued/saved over 1700 cats and kittens.
They work tirelessly for the benefit of our feline friends and smaller shelters don't have the name recognition and huge fundraising capacities of larger shelters. For that reason we want to spread awareness and raise money for them because this year has been a doozy with vet and care bills. These folks are so kind and their devotion to their cause is incredible.
SO... for this FUNdraiser you will come into our studio anytime between 11am and 7pm on Saturday, August 5th and we will show you how to make your very own "Catcrame" toy.
This is a simple to learn macrame rope toy with an organic catnip pillow (removable) and several other items that will help stimulate your pet mentally and physically. A healthy cat is a happy cat.
Our toys use non-toxic and virtually indestructable rope. They're extremely durable and will last for years. You can choose what you'd like to attach - feathers, jingle balls, giant buttons, yarn poms, crinkles and many more items will be available for you. (see pics)

How it Works
- The price is $25 and includes one rope toy. (If you want to make more than one please register for that number)
- Stop in anytime on August 5th between 11am and 7pm and of our instructors will show you how to create your one-of-a-kind, high quality cat toy(s)
- Sip some wine and shop while you visit too! We have a great summer rotation and we feature small, rotating selections of wines you won't find anywhere else. We also serve soda, bottled water, coffee, and herbal tea for our guests who are under 21 or prefer non-alcoholic options.
See the photos/videos for examples of the special toy(s) you'll be creating for your feline friends or the cat lover in your life. Have a great time for a great cause! 80% of the proceeds are going back to Catty Shack to help them with their continued rescue efforts.
