4 Day Painting Studio | Ages 10+
Pro Paint Lab is a four day studio program for students who enjoy painting and want time to slow down, focus, and build real skills across multiple painting mediums.
This is not a fast paced craft camp. It is designed for kids who like working with intention, listening to instruction, and having space to practice without being rushed.
What students will do
Over the week, students will work with watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paint through short demonstrations, guided practice, and independent studio time.
Instruction focuses on:
• layering and transparency
• color mixing and brush control
• understanding how each medium behaves
• building confidence through repetition and exploration
Rather than completing one rigid project, students will create multiple studies and paintings. This allows skills to develop naturally and helps students discover which medium they enjoy most.
On the final day, students will revisit a favorite medium and create a more finished piece using the techniques they’ve practiced throughout the week.
Materials and take home items
Students will paint on a variety of surfaces including paper, canvas, and wood.
Each participant receives a set of professional quality brushes to keep so they can continue practicing after the program ends.
All other materials are provided.

This program is a good fit for students who:
• enjoy painting and creative focus
• are comfortable working at their own pace
• can follow multi step instruction
• like a relaxed but structured studio environment
It is intentionally designed for ages 10 and up and is not a good fit for younger children.
What to know
• Participants should bring a sack lunch and water bottle each day
• We provide an afternoon snack
• If your child has dietary restrictions, please send an appropriate snack from home
• Required paperwork including a waiver and studio guidelines will be emailed prior to the program
We strictly adhere to age requirements for all programs. Pro Paint Lab requires extended focus and independent working time in a group setting.
