Mad About Mosaics: 4 Week Project Series
If you have been wanting to try mosaics or you already love working with glass and want a bigger project to sink into, this series is for you. Over four weeks we will complete two mosaic projects, learning cutting, design, gluing, and grouting along the way.
This is hands on, a little messy, very satisfying work, and yes, you get to leave the cleanup to us.
Classes meet once a week for four weeks, with each session running about two hours so we have time to work without rushing.
What we will make
Weeks 1 and 2: Turkish Mosaic Candle Holder
Week 1 we will design and glue our patterns using colorful glass tiles.
Week 2 we will finish any remaining tile work, then grout and clean for a finished piece you can take home. We'll also start plans for our paver stones.
Weeks 3 and 4: Mosaic Paver Stone
This is made on a solid pre made concrete paver, not a poured craft stone. It is suitable for outdoor use in gardens or walkways.
Week 3 we will design and glue the mosaic.
Week 4 we will grout and finish. If anyone needs extra time, we can send a small grout kit home to finish at your own pace. You'll have plenty of time to work on gluing your design. 🙂

Who this is for
This class is beginner friendly and no prior experience is needed. We walk you through each step and help as much or as little as you want. If you enjoy working with color, pattern, and making something that will actually live in your home or garden, you will love this series.
