In order to keep our class and event prices affordable, we must enforce the following rules for payments/cancellations without exception. It is the buyers responsibility to be familiar with these policies prior to booking/payment.
Studio Cancellations
In the event that we should have to cancel an event, we will offer you a full refund or option to put your payment towards a future class. We try to avoid cancellations of course, but sometimes things happen – an instructor gets sick or has an emergency or we simply don’t have enough interest in a class and there are not enough registrations.
We want to do our best to serve our customers and we promise to honor refunds or credits on any event WE cancel.
Customer Cancellation
All other classes are non-refundable. You may pass your paid seat on to another party or you can choose a credit for a future class for any cancellations prior to 72 hours before an event.
All classes must be paid in advance. We offer the option for an invoice to help those who want to register online but pay in person or who are registering a few people and need to collect money before making the payment etc. If we invoice you that invoice is due within 24 hours or your seat(s) will not be held.
If you book and pay for a class and need to cancel, we will apply your payment to a future class (a credit) so long as you cancel within 72 hours of a scheduled event. You also have the option to transfer that seat to another person, but you must contact us with the name(s) of those taking your seat.
Cancellations after this time frame will forfeit their payment and will not receive credit. Some of our instructors travel and have a lot of supplies and preparation to host events here, so we need to ensure that they have enough participants to make it worth their time, expense and effort.
Private Event Cancellations
Full refunds minus the deposit are available if you cancel prior to two weeks of your event date.
Cancellations two weeks prior to your event up to 72 hours before can be credited towards a new date.
Cancellations with less than 72 hours notice will not be issued a refund or credit.
It takes a lot of time and money to prepare for classes and events. We do our best to be flexible because life happens, but we also cannot afford to lose money on materials due to last-minute cancellations.
Highland Arts & Crafts reserves the right to change these policies at its own discretion at any time.
