This program is ideal for tweens/teens who want to create fun decor and art pieces for their room or other favorite space. We'll explore several current, trendy crafts and nature themed projects. (details and pics below)
Ages: 12 and up
Dates: Tuesday, June 22nd - Friday, June 25th
Times: 10:30am - 3:00pm daily. Sack lunch required every day except Friday. Friday we'll have a pizza party. We provide bottles of water and one snack each day. Weather permitting, we will picnic in the square to stretch and get some fresh air at lunch time.
Cost: $150 includes all project materials, t-shirt, daily snack/water, and a Friday pizza party.
Registration Cutoff: Registration deadline is May 25th to allow us enough time to have custom pieces cut and t-shirts ordered.
Projects:
- Preparing dyes from a wide variety of natural items and using them to dye a t-shirt (we need your child's size when you register)
- Flower pounding (using flowers and other natural elements to create a custom wall hanging - we'll be using hammers 🙂 )
- Ribbon dream catchers
- Mandala art on flower pots
- Macrame plant hanger for our painted pots
- Sola flower wood letter. We'll stain/paint our wood letter then dye/paint sola flowers, arrange and attach them. (Let us know your child's first name on registration so we know which letter to order)
